ROUTE 10

"Dear Mr Carinha Silva, 
I am writing to let you know that London’s New Routemaster has entered service on route 10. 
The bus has three sets of doors and two staircases for faster boarding. Each entrance has card readers that accept Oyster and contactless debit and credit or charge cards as on all our bus routes. 
On weekdays, a conductor will be on board from early morning to early evening to ensure passenger safety when the rear platform is open. At the weekend, the rear platform will be closed when the bus is moving but all three sets of doors will be opened and closed by the driver at bus stops. Conductors will not collect fares or validate Oyster or contactless cards. "
